nous sommes arrivés à Nonthaburi dont on nous avait venté l'authenticité du marché.

We arrived in the town of Nonthaburi, recommanded for the authenticity of its market.

Wat Saket

 Nous avons profité des vacances des enfants pour continuer l'exploration de Bangkok.

Aujourd'hui c'était la visite du Wat Saket, un temple bouddhiste dont le stupa doré, construit sur une colline artificielle de 75 m, lui a valu le surnom de "Temple de la montagne d'or".
Kids are in holiday for 15 days so we continue the exploration of Bangkok.
Today it was the visit of the Wat Saket, a Buddhist temple with a golden stupa, built on an artificial hill of 75 m, called also " Temple of the golden mountain ".

A visit to the Jim Thompson Museum 

Un américain, ancien membre de l'OSS (qui deviendra la CIA) reconverti dans les affaires.

Dessinateur et coloriste de talent, dans les années 50 il fut l'initiateur du renouveau de l'industrie de la soie en Thaïlande.

An Amercican, former member of the OSS (later on called the CIA) reconverted in the business.
Designer and talented colorer, in the 50's his participation was fundamental in the revival of the weaving of the  silk in Thailand.

Se balader dans le Siam Center,

un centre commercial aux vitrines et décorations créatives et originales

 A walk in the Siam Center,
a shopping mall with creative and original shop windows and decorations

puis se poser et observer le "Bangkok Style" 

then to sit and and to observe the " Bangkok Style "
